While you enjoy the ride in your Porsche, let your co-pilots go online. With the data package, all passengers can watch videos, the latest news or select the perfect music for the journey. All this via laptop, smartphone or tablet, for up to 8 devices at the same time. Thanks to the built-in wireless hotspot, which uses the vehicle antenna for a perfect connection. Test the service with a free trial including 6 GB for a validity period of 6 month.

Pre-condition:
Make sure you completed the Real Name Registration at your dealership. In accordance with the legal requirements of the People‘s Republic of China, users must complete Real Name Registration (RNR) before purchasing Wi-Fi data packages and using Music Streaming in their Porsche Vehicles. For further information please contact your dealer.

Download the Porsche Connect App in the App Store. Visit the Apple App Store/Android – Huawei App Store and download the My Porsche App.

Go to the functions page in the My Porsche App and scroll down to the China Mobile linking.

Activate the free trial or purchase a Wi-Fi data package. You will receive a free trial: a 3GB data package valid for 6 months. After the trial period, additional connectivity services in the form of Wi-Fi hotspot data packages can be purchased via the China Mobile online store (accessible through the application).

After activating the Wi-Fi data package, the function “Enable Internet access” must be activated in the device manager settings.
Once the data package has expired and you are not planning to purchase a new data packages please note that you need to remove the checkmark in the vehicle Wi-Fi settings “Enable Internet access”. Your mobile phone will not automatically connect to your vehicle's Wi-Fi hotspot anymore but will use the cellular data connection.
